About

Every hard-working band deserves a chance. That's my philosophy. I've seen at least twenty bands come and go in the Minneapolis music scene alone in the last several years. All those bands had something great and should have been recognized by the greater public. Music labels tend to overlook bands that stand out from the others, bands with potential rather that short-term marketing sales.

That being said, I'm dedicated to promoting these bands. Think of this as your music blog to find bands you have never, or otherwise would never have, been able to hear about because your radio stations refuse to play them.

Despite my original intentions to interview a band each week, that proved fruitless on one too many occasions. Expect to see reviews, promotions and an interview every now and then. I'll be posting a new band each week, so keep checking back.

This is also a spawn of Seether-Online. Since acquiring the site, there were a slew of new features I wanted to promote. Having a band of the week was one of them. If you're a fan of Seether, go check out the fan site at Seether-Online, like us on Facebook, tweet us on Twitter, and spread the word to your friends. The website has been around since August 2002 when Seether released their first album in the U.S. You'll be able to look back through the archives and download select songs from my personal collection, featuring live, acoustic, rarities, demos, and bootlegs. I've spent days tracking down videos and other content that has essentially gone extinct online. It is the be-all-end-all Seether resource.
